Fitness 2008-New Beginnings is Promoting Walking 10000 Steps Per Day

2008 is upon us and this year New Beginnings has decided to promote walking.  It will not cost an arm and a leg and it is good for you.  We have talked to several of our New Beginnings Family members and they are excited about the physical fitness promotion for 2008.  We want you to join us in this.  We have given you some basic instructions on our Fitness Page.  Go out and get your pedometer, some good walking shoes and comfortable clothes and let’s get started walking.  You can do it alone or with a friend.  Let us know how it is going for you by writing to us on the blog.  Your successes and challenges may just help someone else.  Our walking experts (people that have success in this area) will be writing also to keep you encouraged and to make suggestions.

I just heard that a friend of mine started this 6 weeks ago and he has already lost 17 pounds, so if you want to lose weight or just get healthy join us in this-10000 steps per day is the goal, but start where you are and let’s build up to it.  Your pedometer will have a more complete guide included that what we have posted on the website.  Don’t forget if  you are trying to lose weight while doing this to take a before picture, take your measurements and also weigh yourself.  You will be so excited when you see the pounds and inches coming off.
