Look Again!
We have all had some bad things happen. Some of the things that happened we brought on ourselves because of our bad choices or just choosing to be disobedient to what we knew we really should have been doing. Some of the stuff happened to us. Whatever the situation, whether you made a bad investment, bad choice or it happened to you, I want you to take the time to look again. Look at what happened through different eyes. Look at it through spiritual eyes. Try looking at it through godly eyes. Ask God to give you His vision for your situation.
I am a strong believer that nothing just happens. I believe that if it happened God has a plan for it and the scripture confirms that in Romans 8:28. In Romans 8:28, the bible says, 28And we know that for those who love God all things work together(A) for good,[a] for(B) those who are called according to his purpose. It does not say we guess, it says we know. The divorce, the child abuse, the loss of the job, the financial struggle, whatever it is, though it may not be good, it will work together for our good.
The divorce may result in a major ministry ministering to those who have gone through the same thing you did. The financial disaster may be His way of getting you into a new place of dependence on Him instead of yourself.
Whatever has happened can be used for His glory and your good if you will just look at it again. Don’t look at it and try to hold on to what you think you lost. Hold on to Him and let Him lead you to the new place He has for you. Pray and be obedient to what He is telling you to do. He knows His purpose and plan for you. He knows that what He ordained from your situation is beyond your wildest imagination. He knows that if He had shown you everything He had planned for you and what it would cost you would have aborted the plan, so He left you out of some of the details, because His thoughts are higher than your thoughts and His plans are better than your plans.
He knows just when and how to squeeze you to get the very best out of you, but you will have to trust Him to do it.
All right now, look again. What do you see? Do you see anything positive in your situation? Do you see any way He can work it out? Do you see anything in it that He could use to glorify Himself? You may not see it yet, but hang in there and keep trusting Him.
He sees everything. He sees the end from the beginning and He knows what is best for you. Is it possible that the mess you are in right now was designed by Him to move you into the Kingdom purpose He has for you? It is probably not the way you would have done, it but He did. He chose to do it this way to strengthen you. There are no shortcuts when it comes to kingdom work or kingdom preparation, so Look Again and say thank you. Say thank you for His plan and for however He chooses to work it out, because He knows best.

Romans 8:28:
28And we know that for those who love God all things work together (A) for good, [a] for (B) those who are called according to his purpose.
