The FOG (Favor Of God)
Well it’s the beginning of a New Year and a New Level of Life. What is God calling you to do? Are there things you didn’t do last year?
Is God waiting for your yes? Well now is the time, God has called you, and equipped you for it. New Beginnings is starting its new level will you join us? You maybe saying there were circumstances that knocked you off track last year. Ate too much, exercised to little. With any commitment there are breakdowns, times when the plan gets aborted and it is in those times that our faith is tested. It is like being on a boat and all of a sudden fog rolls in and you can’t see anything around you. A moment before you could see the direction God was taking you, then something came and clouded your path. Some of us have a tendency to move and try to see ourselves through instead of waiting where God put us for that very moment in our life. There is a lesson in everything we go through. You are perfectly fine where you are for that moment. In Ecclesiastes 3:1 the bible says, “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” If you were ready for the next piece of the puzzle God would have given it to you. Isaiah 40:31, reminds us that, “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.” He desires for you to live a life of Abundance but only in His time and when you are ready. He is the only one that knows what time that is and when you will be ready.
I recall when I really liked this particular gentleman and I was fascinated. It was my first crush and we talked all the time. He never knew I liked him but I knew and that’s all that mattered. When he told me he and his ex-girl friend were getting back together, I was so mad. I asked God why did you let me get involved in this and God told me “I never told you he was yours.” He was not mine. The reason I couldn’t be with him was because I was not ready to have a boyfriend. I had lost track of what I was suppose to be doing, my vision was blocked because all I saw was this cutie. If you find yourself in the fog, don’t get distracted, don’t give up, don’t try to go too fast, move slowly at the pace God has set for you to avoid hitting other boats in the water or cars on the street or running into your destiny in a way that will destroy it.
So, I am saying all of this to encourage you to get ready, get ready, God has some new things just for you. But don’t let yourself get distracted. Get a Journal and write down the things God is telling you right now, and watch Him reveal His perfect plan for your life spiritually, physically, relationally and emotionally. It may not look the way you think it should because of the fog, but remember all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His name and purpose.
